The Ghost Walk donates $10k for Children’s Treatment Centre
Cornwall’s Ghost Walk for Charity held last month on select dates wound up raising $30,000 for five local charities this year, organizers said. And, more than 4,000 people came through and braved the spooky walk organizers put together in the spirit of Halloween, many of the visitors travelling from out of town to attend the growing exhibit.
“As we reflect back on the success of our 2021 events, we would like to thank our supporters, sponsors and volunteers, for making it our most successful year to date,” said Ghost Walk for Charity committee chairman Mike Turcotte in a news release this week.
Selected charities to receive support are Habitat for Humanity/Agape Centre ($10,000), Koala Place/Victim Services ($10,000), and the Children’s Treatment Centre ($10,000).
